If you can call a collector of images, an obsessive composer of colour and line and a person with a seeking eye an artist, then I fall happily into this category.
The eye is my main tool. I collect images around me and manipulate them in such a way that another eye can discover them and with it the beauty in the often quite ordinary.
By unframing objects out of their ordinary environment and reframing them digitally and manually with colour and paint I hope to compose something visually so strong that people who look at it, enjoy the same pleasure of discovery, that I have had when the object looked at me.
