About Catherine

There's something about faces that fascinate me. They reveal so much, but hide such a lot too, and I want to draw and paint them compulsively; every face has its own particular beauty. So portraits are a constant with me, and I always return to them. My work is often idea driven, hopefully quirky, humorous, multicoloured and textural, and I am never happier than when I have a project in hand!
